A hundred and twenty spaces under the Zentrum Oberland at Talackerstrasse 55A, in the middle of Thun and a few minutes from the station, the Aare and the old town. Covered, open around the clock, and at one franc an hour among the cheapest places to leave a car in the centre.
How you get in. The barrier reads your number plate. Book before you arrive, drive up, and it opens for your car: no ticket, no app to open at the barrier, nothing to scan. The same happens on the way out.
If the barrier does not open. Number plate reading fails now and then, usually when a plate is dirty, unusual or mounted low. Do not reverse into the ramp: press the help button at the barrier or call us on 044 505 44 50, and we will open it and sort the payment out afterwards. You will not be charged for time spent waiting at a barrier that should have opened.
Paying. Pay when you book and the whole thing is settled before you arrive, which is the surest way to avoid trouble at the machine on the way out.
