The Paid Parking Zone in Opole is divided into two subzones “A” and “B”

A parking ticket purchased for zone A is valid in zone B, but a parking ticket purchased for zone B is no longer valid in zone A. To move a vehicle from zone B to zone A, a fee must be paid in zone A.

The parking ticket is personalised by entering the registration number of the vehicle to be charged, using the keypad. The registration number will appear on the printout of the purchased parking ticket.

Parking fees in Opole

 

In the paid parking zone in Area A

 

Fees apply Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:00

 

• PLN 1.80 minimum charge; half-hour parking;
• PLN 3.60 for the first hour of parking;
• PLN 4.20 for the second hour of parking;
• PLN 5.00 for the third hour of parking;
• PLN 3.60 for the fourth and each subsequent hour of parking;
• PLN 25.00 for the daily fee;

 

In the paid parking zone in Area B

 

Fees apply Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:00

 

• PLN 1.00 minimum charge; half-hour parking;
• PLN 2.00 for the first hour of parking;
• PLN 2.40 for the second hour of parking;
• PLN 2.80 for the third hour of parking;
• PLN 2.00 for the fourth and each subsequent hour of parking;
• PLN 20.00 for the daily fee;

Subscriptions

 

In Area A:

• PLN 200,00 decadal subscription fee (for the next 10 working days);
• PLN 400,00 monthly subscription fee;

In Area B:

• PLN 150,00 decadal subscription fee (for the next 10 working days);
• PLN 300,00 monthly subscription fee;

 

Subscription for residents

 

Zone A resident’s flat rate parking fee:

• PLN 100,00 per year for the two streets where he resides;
• PLN 600,00 per year for the entire zone;

 

Zone B resident’s flat rate parking fee:

• PLN 100,00 per year for the two streets where he resides;
• PLN 450,00 per year for the entire zone;

Monthly fees for a restricted parking space (envelope)

• PLN 750,00 in Area A;
• PLN 500,00 in Area B;

Zero fees

for parking vehicles on public roads in the paid parking zone for:

• disabled persons driving vehicles, holding parking cards as defined in Art. 8 of the Act of 20 June 1997 Traffic Law (Journal of Laws of 2012, item 1137, as amended) and drivers transporting disabled persons holding such cards. The parking card should be placed behind the vehicle windshield, in a manner allowing for its readability from the outside of the vehicle;
• vehicle drivers, who will make a vehicle stop within the time period not longer than 15 minutes and will collect a “zero” ticket from the parking ticket machine, providing a vehicle registration number and will place it behind the vehicle windshield, in a manner allowing for its readability from the outside of the vehicle
• driving hybrid vehicles, within the meaning of Article 2, point 13 of the Act of 11 January 2018 on electromobility and alternative fuels, in places designated for charging the vehicles;
• drivers of TAXI vehicles in places designated with road signs D-19 and D-20 (cab stand and end of cab stand);
• drivers of vehicles with current permission from the Municipal Road Authority in Opole to perform works in the road lane;
• driving marked vehicles of municipal services and services connected with the technical infrastructure of the city while performing their duties in the road lane;
• electric vehicles.

Additional fees

• The additional fee for non-payment of parking fee is PLN 100,00 in Area A and PLN 80,00 in Area B.
• The additional fee in Zone A is reduced to PLN 50.00 if paid within 14 days from the day of issuing a notice informing about the obligation to pay the additional fee.
• The additional fee in Zone B is reduced to PLN 40.00 when paid within 14 days from the date of issuing the notice informing about the obligation to pay the additional fee.
