Parking for the Berlin Christmas markets 2026

The Christmas market at Alexanderplatz is about 5 minutes on foot from our underground car park, the Berliner Weihnachtszeit at the Rotes Rathaus about 15 and Gendarmenmarkt about 25. On weekend evenings the streets around them fill up early, so a space booked in advance saves the search.

Where to park

Parking Alexanderplatz (underground) is 5 minutes on foot from the market at Alexanderplatz and 15 minutes from the Berliner Weihnachtszeit at the Rotes Rathaus. You can reserve a space online before you arrive; a reserved space is guaranteed for the whole booking. Prices start at EUR 2.50 per hour, and the maximum vehicle height is 2 m.

Tips

• The markets are busiest on Friday and Saturday evenings. Arriving before 16:00 or after 20:00 is noticeably easier.
• The centre of Berlin is a low emission zone: cars need the green sticker (grüne Plakette).
• If you prefer not to drive into the centre, Alexanderplatz is served by U2, U5, U8 and the S-Bahn.
