In Gdańsk, charges are collected for parking vehicles on public roads in some districts. Fees are collected for parking in 16 sectors of the Paid Parking Zone and the Downtown Paid Parking Zone.

Charging in these sectors is intended to ensure a higher turnover of parked vehicles and thus increase the availability of parking spaces. Parking spaces are available to drivers across the SPP and ŚSPP sectors.

Underground and surface commercial car parks are also available.

Karta Mieszkańca discount: cardholders pay a reduced first hour once per day, PLN 3.90 in the SPP and PLN 5.50 in the ŚSPP.

Parking fees in Gdańsk (current, 2025)

In the Downtown Paid Parking Zone:

In the Paid Parking Zone:

payment applies Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00

• PLN 7.20 for the third hour of parking;
• PLN 5.00 for the fourth and each subsequent hour of parking;

In the Paid Parking Zone:

Annual flat fee card – resident
A card payable to an individual who resides in a dwelling located in a building situated on a property bordering the OPP; authorising the parking of a car with a specific registration number for a specific period of time.

• first vehicle: PLN 120 per year, or PLN 10 per month;
• second vehicle: PLN 240 per year, or PLN 20 per month.

Commercial subscription

Business-owner resident subscription
For entrepreneurs whose registered business address is within the zone.

• PLN 195 per month, or PLN 1,170 per year.

General monthly abonament
Available to any driver, without a resident or business link to the zone.

• PLN 715 per month for the SPP;
• PLN 1,040 per month for the SPP and ŚSPP combined.

Free parking in Gdansk for:

• electric vehicles;
• marked vehicles and municipal services (gas, electricity, heat, water and sewage emergency services) and Gdańsk Properties when removing the effects of an emergency;
• on official duties with vehicles belonging to the Municipal Office in Gdansk, the Municipal Police in Gdansk and Gdansk Real Estate – on the basis of a “0” badge issued by the road authority;
• PHEV hybrid vehicles – with a “0” badge issued by the road administration;
• vehicles used for diplomatic purposes,
• performing the duties of Honorary Consuls immobilizing motor vehicles in the designated sector of the OPP appropriate for the location of the consulate – on the basis of a “CC” badge issued by the road administration;
• persons with severe disabilities (symbol R or N) – on the basis of an “N+” badge issued by the road administration and a Parking Card combined;
• transporting a severely disabled person (symbol O or R or N) – on the basis of an “N+” badge issued by the road administration and a Parking Card jointly;
• motorbikes, quadricycles and light quadricycles;

Additional fees

• failure to pay parking fees;
• exceeding the parking time indicated on the ticket of the Gdański Zarząd Dróg (GZD);
• parking in a sector other than the designated one;
• parking on the basis of a Parking Card of European design outside; a parking space reserved for a disabled person;
• The additional fee is PLN 200;
