Parking for the Katowice Christmas Market 2026

The Christmas market fills the Rynek in the centre of Katowice for almost two months. The streets around it are part of the paid parking zone, and on weekend afternoons free spaces near the Rynek are hard to find.

Where to park

Parking Chorzowska 52 is 15 minutes on foot from the Rynek. Prices start at PLN 5 per hour. You get in by scanning a QR code with your phone at the entrance, or the number plate recognition cameras open the barrier for you. Tips

• Weekend afternoons are the busiest time on the Rynek. A weekday evening is quieter.
• Nikiszowiec is a separate district about 15 minutes by car from the centre; plan the two markets as separate trips.
